Testimonials
I’d like to express my gratitude to Ms. Vaz, my children’s 4th-grade teacher at Espírito Santo school, who makes learning enjoyable through her teaching of multiple subjects. Her kindness, patience, and willingness to spend extra time with students are truly appreciated. She always has a smile and finds a way to make my children’s smile every day. Ms. Vaz goes above and beyond to help the students that needs extra help with there classwork or homework. They enjoy going to her classes everyday and they do many fun things in class and she makes every student feel good about school and themselves.

Ms. Duarte is an amazing teacher!! She has a real passion for what she does, and knows how to challenge kids. Madison really enjoys the 2nd grade, and we are sad to see it come to an end. When we have a concern, she always addresses them in a timely manner. We should have more teacher like her.

I am thankful for Deacon Miranda because he is a really great teacher. He teaches me a lot about catholicism and most of the things he taught me about I didn’t know about.

Ms Rose is one of the kindest and compassionate teachers I have ever met. My son used to hate going to school/daycare before kindergarten. Since being in class with Ms. Rose he started loving going to school every day. Besides always being extremely patient and understanding with his learning difficulties she has build up his confidence so much. We are forever grateful for Ms. Rose with all she does, she is simply the best.

I’m so thankful for my entire school, but I want to give a special shoutout to Deacon Miranda! You’re not just an amazing deacon but also an incredible teacher! You’ve opened my eyes to so many new things and have taught me how to altar serve and truly serve God. Your support means the world to me, and I can’t wait to see all the other things I’ll learn from you! Thank you for everything, Deacon! I feel so lucky to have you in my life! Also, I want to give a special shoutout to Mrs. Raposo! I love having you as my ELA, social studies, and art teacher! Your support means so much to me; having you around is the best. Thank you for teaching me how to draw! Honestly, I never thought I could create like this. Sometimes I look at my drawings and think, “Wow, I did that?” I’m so grateful for everything you do, Mrs. Raposo! You’re awesome. Love you all! <3

Although we wish we could nominate all of our teachers at Espírito Santo, as we have been truly blessed with kind, intelligent, insightful teachers since pre-school, my son Wesley & I chose Mr. Raposo, our principal, this year. From day one, Mr. Raposo has been receptive to my Wesley’s needs & fostered inclusion for my son with hearing loss. Even before meeting my son, he was present at his transition meetings for services so that Wesley could be appropriately serviced. His leadership definitely trickles down and provides a network of individuals my son feels comfortable to be himself around which in turn provides a wonderful learning environment.

Sra. Pereira has always been there since we attended ES! She is so compassionate, patience, caring, always welcomes my daughter with a smile on her face no matter the situation. She’s just an amazing teacher! Most importantly she always took upon herself to make sure my daughter will be okay going into school because she knew how much anxiety she had. She’s not just a teacher, she’s a trusted friend to our family!

Mrs. Carreiro is absolutely amazing. It’s not easy for a parent to bring their child to school for the first time, especially when they have limited language skills. Mrs. C. is so warm and caring of her students, that a sense of security is immediately felt. My son absolutely loves Mrs. C and frequently tries to invite her over to our house for dinner. I am so thankful for Mrs. C. for all she does for the preschool students at ESS, and I mean everything from her warm and welcoming demeanor to the special occasion crafts that the children bring home to the overwhelming sense of relief that she provides parents knowing that their children are in good hands while they are at work. Over the course of passing conversations, I have mentioned to many people how if it weren’t for Mrs. C., my kiddo would not have been enrolled in school yet.

Our youngest daughter is flourishing in her Kindergarten year and we are so thankful for her teacher Ms. Rose. Ms. Rose displays the utmost patience and kindness with her students. She is always easy to reach if needed. Academically, our daughter is appropriately challenged and loves learning new things. When Ms. Rose provides feedback, I can tell she takes a genuine interest in our daughter as an individual. When our daughter sees something interesting on the weekend she tells me Ms. Rose or Ms. Grace (Kindergarten paraprofessional) would like it. She will create art at home, and draw one of or both of these teachers. They have clearly made a great impression on her and we are blessed to have them both at ESS.

Mrs Walker is so kind and patient with my son. She helps him with his work and makes sure he understands it too! She and my son have a great rapport which is a difficult thing with my son as he is special needs (autism) and can have issues working with others. She is also great with communication and always fills me in with any info I need to know.

Ms.Duarte has been such a positive influence on my son this year. From guiding the 2nd grade through their First Communion to creating a fun and welcoming classroom, she brings joy and warmth to everything she does. My son loves drawing her pictures and always comes home with something kind to say about her. We’re so grateful for her dedication and heart!

This lovely teacher is a wonderful and kind educator who provides my son the warm comfort he receives at home.
My son has special hearing needs and Mrs. Carreiro is nothing but patient with him, teaching him how to behave at school and how to control his emotions, which is very challenging for a 3 year old.
When it comes to academics, my son has been learning so much in such fun ways; he’s always excited to tell me about his day and shows me his projects he brings home, feeling very proud of himself.
Early education is a key part in developing a child’s self esteem for the future, both in school and in social circumstances. I am very pleased that my son is having such a great start with a competent and dedicated teacher such as Mrs. Carreiro.

Ms. Rose has created such a wonderful environment for my kindergartener to grow and learn SO much throughout his first year in school. He comes home every day talking about how great she is and how much he loves school. I was worried that his shyness and uncertainty about school would make for a difficult year and she has done everything in her power to make him feel welcome, loved and comfortable. He has grown so much in a short period of time with her help! I will forever be grateful for Ms.Rose making this year as seamless as possible for us and can’t wait for my daughter to also experience her classroom!
